How to get listed on The Family Network:-
The form asks you for details to enable us to create your business profile, Your profile will be viewable on the Directory but you will also have a username and password for you to manage your details on your private dashboard.
You will be asked to choose the Networking Branch you are part of, if the branch is not in the drop down please pick “other”
The form also asks you for details that will display in your profile
Your Email address
Your company name, address, website address
Your name, telephone and mobile numbers so people can contact you
Your social media Links so people can click through to your social media profiles
And your Public Profile Bio, this is for you to write about you, your business and what you do, it is a great opportunity for you to introduce yourself to the people viewing your profile.
We will ask you to pick what trades/services you offer, if you offer more than one please add them in as it will make sure you are listed in all the relevent searches people make, if you cannot find a relevent one please put other and we will contact you to discuss it in more detail and add the relevent trade to the listing for you.
As you will be aware the Data Protection law changed 25 May 2018 (General Data Protection Regulation) as we are collecting your data to display on our directory we are asking for your consent to do so. (You will see the consent boxes at the bottom of the form) We collect information to display on your public profile, to enable you to manage your business profile and us to mange your account. You have access to your dashboard so that you can ensure all your information is relevent and up to date and you have full control over it. We will only hold this information for as long as it is needed to be displayed on the directory.
We also will ask for your consent to send you information from time to time by Post, Email, Phone and SMS if you would like us to send you this information then you can give us your consent by ticking the boxes on the form.
Once you submit your form and pay your application fee of £60 we will process your application and make your profile live and you can login and access your dashboard. Here you can edit your profile, and view your public profile so you can check how it looks, update your details, manage your password, view your public profile views and the number of times you have appeared in searches, if you have any questions you can send us a message here too. Payment for each years listing will be taken automatically on the day of renewal, using the same method of payment as originally used. You may cancel at any time by emailing us. Refunds will only be issued if the email is received within 14 days after payment has been taken.
Once your profile is live, let people know about it, ask your customers to write a review about you so other people can see what your customers think about you, the more reviews you get the better, as this is a public directory people searching for your services do not have to log in to find you, they simply look for a service and put in their postcode, if you offer that service you come up in the search so its a great opportunity for people to see you and what your customers are saying!
